I was recently at Hill and Hill to buy a pipe, and as Jim was telling me about it, another customer was buying a couple of Supremo EXLs. As I had mentioned something about my own cigar smoking habits, Jim told me the same story about the former President sending his Press Secretary and Pilot in to pick some up. Jim also said that it was James Gandolfini's favorite brand, and that Jim would personally send the late actor orders. Anyways, the customer swore by them as well, and as I puff on this for the first time, I can see why. Only the original red and Blue.
Another stick that is a CI special is the double Espresso. The original Espresso is a very good cigar. The little double espresso is another stick that CI is pimping.

I just think that people should be aware that CI does this king of thing quite often and they should not be fooled just because the cigar has a popular name on it.
If you do a little research you can usually figure out what is truly made by the company and what is just a CI knockoff.

That is not to say you can't get some good stick like this. There are a few CI only Padilla lines that are quite good.

Thanks for the reply.

MikeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3188418922063685929.post-2360366165701234152011-06-25T08:55:49.862-05:002011-06-25T08:55:49.862-05:00I recognize that these aren't coming out of Na...I recognize that these aren't coming out of Nassau like the core lines do, however they are affiliated with Graycliff as evidenced on the Graycliff website. That said, many brands have farmed out their name to CI. For that reason, I've avoided the 1666 in lieu of the original blue label (profesionale). In all honesty though, I don't feel that even the core lines are worth what Graycliff charges for them.
In the case of the two Edicion Limitadas (crystal and platinum), a friend brought them up for me, and I was happy to smoke 'em!
Thanks for taking the time to comment.Jeremy Bloomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03912040937031019892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3188418922063685929.post-72712912892528410652011-06-25T00:48:46.415-05:002011-06-25T00:48:46.415-05:00These are not true Graycliff's.
